I purchased this hot habanero salt for my fiance, who absolutely LOVES hot and spicy foods. We put it on his burgers that we cooked on the grill in place of our usual spices and seasonings. He only added a small amount to begin with just in case it was too much for him to handle. Just one small sprinkle of salt gave his burger a big kick! According to him, the heat is a 4 on a scale of 1-10, but that is probably just because he is one of those guys who can handle tongue-blasting heat that brings tears to his eyes. For normal people the heat would likely be an 8-10 on the heat scale.
The best thing about this salt is that it is not just hot, it is also flavorful. Some products are only concerned with the heat of their product and not the quality and flavor that it brings to the food. The creators of this salt really had flavor in mind when they made this one. I would highly recommend this to people who love adding extra heat and delicious flavor to their foods, especially while grilling this summer!
