Inspire protein powder if a line of whey protein isolate powders that claim to be specially formulated products that are easier to absorb for individuals who have had bariatric weight loss surgery, that are both lactose and gluten free. Unlike many whey protein powders on the market today, they are not made from a concentrate or blend.
This is my absolute favorite flavor of Inspire protein powder. I have tried this protein powder with almond milk, Fairlife milk, and coffee. It has been excellent in all of them. My personal favorite liquid to mix it with is coffee. The peanut butter cookie flavor is so powerful that it overpowers the taste of the coffee itself. I have also used the protein powder in a high protein flourless pancake recipe. Sometimes I mix half of a scoop of peanut butter cookie flavored Inspire with half of a scoop of banana smoothie flavored Inspire and blend it with almond milk for a fantastic peanut butter/banana flavored drink. The powder blends smoothly with liquid, leaving very few lumps. There is not weird aftertaste like I have noticed with other brands of protein powder.
Each bag has 20 servings of protein powder (1 scoop, which is included) and each serving includes 106 calories, 1 gram of fat, 2 grams of carbs and 20 grams of protein. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great protein powder, regardless of whether or not you have had weight loss surgery.
